There's lots of fun to be had on and off land in Lombok. The sparkling azure shores of the Indonesian Ocean are perfect to catch some waves, to observe the colourful marine life or to learn a new water sport. Days lounging on the beach can be counteracted by the allure of aquatic adventures.
As for diving, the Gili islands are a favoured spot for water-related activities due to the slower currents surrounding them. Here, you'll be enthralled by turtles, white-tip reef sharks, cuttlefish, moray eels, angel fish and ghost pipefish.
